Miocene rhinoceros

The Miocene rhinoceros is a species belonging to the genus Dicerorhinus. Dicerorhinus is a genus of large terrestrial mammals of the Rhinocerotidae family, inhabiting the Eurasian territories. The first animals of the genus lived in Oligocene, but only one living representative is known now - Dicerorhinus sumatrensis, with other fossil species (their number varies according to the authors).
