Turbot

(Scophthalmus maxima) The body has a specific shape – unsymmetrical, flat and rhomboidal. The young are symmetrical fish and as they get older acquire the body shape of the adults. They can change the color to blend in with their surroundings. This is helpful as a defence mechanism against predаtors and is also used to set up an ambush for pray.
