Clownfish
The clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris) inhabits the Indian and Pacific ocean. It thrives at depth range around 1-15 meters. It has a distinctive orange-white coloration, some individuals can have red-white or black-white colors. They grow up to 11 cm. and live up to 10 years in the wild. It lives with the venomous sea anemones, which protect him from predators, while the clownfish cleans the anemone when necessary. This unique biological process is called symbiosis.
