Fish

Fish Hall is located on the ground floor of the museum where the aquarium is. The hall has a total area of ​​47 m2. There are seven showcases on this area, which have a total exposure area (46m2). The hall mainly presents the Bulgarian Ichthyofauna, which comprises (207) species, (132) genus in (54) families. The numbering of the exhibits is clockwise, entering from left to right - the exhibits in the hall are displayed systematically in the same order. Most of the fish are presented in glasses in showcases 1, 3, 7. Showcases 1, 3, 7 have a total area (19m2) - they have three glass shelves dividing them into four equal parts. Showcases 2, 4, 5, 6 - bigger in size with total area (27m2) - there are dry (taxidermy fish) exhibits: Showcase 2 (freshwater inhabitants), Showcases 4, 5, 6 (saltwater inhabitants).
